Common Questions about Vacation Rental Homes

General Questions:

 

·         How old do you have to be to rent a villa? The age to rent any villa with Welcome Homes is 25 years old.

·         What is required as a deposit when I am ready to book my reservation? There is a $200 deposit when you book your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30days prior to your arrival. If you book your reservation 30days or less to your arrival date, the amount will be due in full.

·         Do I need to fill out any paperwork to book a reservation? Once your reservation is booked, you will be required to fill out a Credit Card authorization form and rental contract. This is required to be either faxed, scanned, or sent by mail within 24hours of booking your reservation.

·         What is the cleaning fee? How much is the cleaning fee? A cleaning fee applies to any stay under 7nights. The fee depends on the size of the villa that you are renting. This will added to your reservation. 

·         Do all of your rentals include Wi-Fi or high speed internet access? Each home/condo varies. You can find this information on the home you are renting on our website or at the time your reservation is booked. 

·         Do your homes have barbeque grills? No, our homes do not have barbeque grills. We do not offer grill rentals. Grills are not permitted for the safety of our homes and guests. 

·         Do you allow pets? We do not allow pets in any of our homes or condos.

·         Can I rent a crib or highchair? We do offer crib and highchair rentals at a $5.00 fee per day. You are able to request this anytime during your stay. We do recommend it is requested prior to your arrival. 

·         Do you offer pool heat? Yes, we do offer pool heat at $20 charge per day. 

·         Do your homes have linens and towels? All of our homes are fully equipped with linens and towels. They also include all dishware, silverware, kitchen utensils and glasses. 

·         Can I pick-up an extra key during my stay? Yes, you may have an extra key. There is a $25 deposit that is refunded back to you when the key is returned.

·         Is there anything that guests need to bring with them to the home? All of our homes are self catering. Welcome Homes does provide linens, towels, dishes, etc. However, it is the renters responsibility to bring their own toiletries, household items, and groceries. For groceries, please ask about our grocery packs we offer. 

·         How close are your homes to Disney World? Our homes are all located within 10-20minutes of the Disney theme parks. Depending on the actual location of the villa you will be staying in will determine the distance to Disney. 

·         Do you sell tickets to theme parks and dinner shows? Welcome Homes works with a company, Kissimmee Guest Services. They offer excellent rates on theme park and dinner show tickets. Please remember to mention Welcome Homes when you purchase your tickets.

 

Security Deposit:

 

Will I be notified if I am charged for any damages after my departure? Welcome Homes will notify you by phone or e-mail to notify the guest of any damages to the home. All of homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival to document any damages or maintenance issues that need to be addressed prior to your stay.

 

 

Check-In:

 

·         Where do I pick-up my keys? You would come to our Welcome Homes office at: 2436 Sand Mine Rd, Davenport Fl 33896.

·         What do I need to bring at check-in? You will need a valid photo i.d. and credit card.

·         Do I need to bring my confirmation with me? It is not necessary to bring your confirmation but most guests feel it is helpful with their check-in process.

·         What time is check-in? Is it possible to check-in early? Check-in is after 4pm. If you would like to check-in early, we recommend calling 24hrs in advance to request an early check-in to see if early check-in is available.

·         What are your office hours and what if I arrive after hours? Our office is open Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm. If you are arriving after hours, you would retrieve your keys outside of our office in the lockbox. The lockbox code is included in your arrival instructions. You will see an envelope with your name on it and directions to the home you will be staying in. 

·         What if my keys are not in the lockbox? If your keys are not in our lockbox, you can call on-call staff at (321) 624-0217. They will give you instructions following your call. 

Check-Out:

 

·         Where do I check-out? You would check-out at our office. 

·         What if I am leaving early in the morning and your office is not open? You can place your keys outside in our lock box. 

·         Do I need to do anything in specific to clean the house before I leave? It is not mandatory to clean the home prior to your departure. However, we do recommend that you start a load of laundry and load the dishwasher before you check-out of the home. We also suggest tying up all garbage bags and placing it with the lid on the garbage can. Please refer to your “Survival Guide” for safe instructions in your arrival packet. 

·         What time is Check-Out/What if I would like a late check-out? Check-out is at 10am. If you would like to request a late check-out, please call us 24hrs in advance to request a late check-out.
